I love how eating lobster has a way of quieting a room. Everyone suddenly focused on opening the shell and savoring as much precious meat as possible and leaving you and those around you with the sounds of cracking, slurping, and oos and ahs.
Lobsters are probably one of the things that I look forward to most during the summertime. Growing up, my family always kicked off the Summer with a lobster cookout. I got married in 2016, and my husband and I have been working on developing some of our own family traditions. We've decided that rather than doing a kickoff to Summer, we would start doing a send-off. These are our Five go to lobster spots north of Boston. This Summer officially ends on 9/22/2020. Join us in sending off the Summer, right! Explore these joints, and you won't be disappointed.
Leaving you with a fun fact;
" Lobsters were once considered poor man's food. In Colonial times the crustaceans were so plentiful in the northeast that they were often used as fertilizer, feed for farm animals, and fishing bait" ( Rebecca Gardon 15 fun facts about lobsters ).
